The Dallas Police Department’s Office of Community Affairs has invited Duck Team 6 to be a vendor at their upcoming “K-9 Chief on the Beat” which will be located at Samuell Grand Recreation Center, 6200 E. Grand Ave. Come out to the event and stop by the Duck Team 6 event to meet volunteers and learn more about our various programs including our new Junior Duck Solution Squad Humane Education Program. The event is scheduled for Saturday, April, 29, 2017 and will be from 10:00am – 2:00pm.
This event is a Crime Prevention and Safety Fair featuring many pet vendors and rescue groups! Kid friendly and FREE. We will have representatives from our Junior Duck Solution Squad talking a little bit about the new humane education program our outreach program for children. Duck Team 6 is committed to educating the youth to help reduce the street dog population in Dallas. The mission of Junior Duck Solution Squad is “Building a generation of animal advocates one child at a time.”
