Ready. Set. Strut!
Held in cities nationwide, Strut Your Mutt is a mega fundraising event and dog walk put on by Best Friends Animal Society. Once again, Duck Team 6 will be participating in the event held on October 15, 2016 at Stude Park in Houston, TX.
Every day, more than 9,000 dogs and cats are killed in America’s shelters simply because they don’t have safe places to call home. That number should be zero. That’s why we are participating in Strut Your Mutt; to raise money to save
more dogs off the streets of Dallas and help them find loving homes.
Our mission is to reduce the street dog population in Dallas through capture, placement and outreach. We can’t meet our mission without generous donations from our supporters. We use donated funds to pull dogs from the streets and help them find forever homes as well as help low-income families keep their dogs by assisting them with food and supplies, spay / neuter programs, vaccination clinics and other medical needs. Our work keeps dogs off the streets, out of the shelters and in homes with their families where they belong!
Please join us by either registering for our team or donating to one of our team members. Your donation is tax deductible and all dollars raised by our team will go directly to Duck Team 6 after transaction fees. And the best part? That money will help save the lives of dogs in Dallas!
